American Chiropractic gives back to Warriors in 2014

Honoring service and sacrifice inspired by the courage of those who have volunteered to wear our nation’s uniform, the Bush Institute’s Military Service Initiative highlights members of the U.S. Armed Forces who serve and sacrifice to defend our freedom.  The military Service Initiative also heralds the military service organizations who give their time, talents, and resources to support our brave men and women in uniform and their families.  The Warrior Open golf tournament features members of our Armed Forces who were severely wounded in the global war on terror.  This tournament is an opportunity to recognize the patriotism and sacrifices of those who have given so selflessly to protect our country.  Their courage reminds us that even though they are wounded, they are not done fighting. 

American Chiropractic in Mesquite was honored with the opportunity to participate in the 2011- 2013 Warrior Open by donating their time and talent towards keeping these athletes performing at their best.  This year, the doctors at American Chiropractic have been selected for the fourth year to join the Medical Team for the Warrior Open taking Place in Las Colinas, TX in October, 2014.  The doctors participating continue to be inspired by the courage of these warriors.  Many of the injuries sustained by these soldiers in combat resulted in advanced rehabilitation at VA hospitals, including multiple surgeries and amputations.  In the face of great adversity, these men have pushed themselves, relearned to play a sport they love, and given no quarter to pain and physical limitations.  The doctors at American Chiropractic will assist the warriors in performance stretching, physiotherapy, and conservative chiropractic care.
